Bicycle

Bike style and equipment preferences will always be as varied and colorful as are the personalities, which will show up for the Human Fish Gravel Race. Gravel or Cyclocross bike is required. We recommend 35-40 mm tires with ratio 50-34 front and 11-32 rear or 38 front and 11-42 rear. Those with mountain bikes in all their varieties can also participate and are very welcome. 81% (red), 82% (green) and 84% (blue) of the course encompasses gravel terrain. The longest gravel section is 49.5km (red), 41.5 (green) long and the longest asphalt section is 9.5km (red), 8.3 (green) long. There are many quick sections with excellent gravel terrain and some sections which are technically demanding, especially those with a less favorable terrain (stony gravel). The red course also has sections which belong in the category of wide single trails and trails across mountain pastures (grassy terrain). The decision of which bike to choose for this particular course is thus left up to you.
